“My players wanted to be around the ball, to respect the ball” What kind of nonsense did I just hear?

You see on here a lot of accusations of 'lowering expectations' around Man Utd. I get criticised for being too patient. But you can't jump from a zero structure, cashless mess to title winner immediately. That's why expectations altered. They're based on reality and a timeline to get back to the level United SHOULD be at. This season, IMO, we will be closer again to realigning expectation with reality. United NEED a BIG end to the transfer window but I'm expecting one. That's why I'm optimistic for the season ahead. I said United would qualify for the CL last year when many thought they were finished. They came 3rd. This season, I expect consolidation at the very, very least. And I'm hoping for more than that. Man Utd season preview edition of Promised Land Podcast is out now, with Adam 🔴

Anderson, Fernandes, Tonali, gone. #MUFC fancy themselves on Tchouameni, IMO. But... ⚪️ Enzo Fernandez to Real Madrid needs to trigger 🔴 And United have to pay for the privilege Plenty think Tchouameni is a pipe dream. But there's no smoke without fire. New Promised Land Podcast out now.

Wanted Amorim out but want Iraola in? Here's a thought. Semenyo said about Iraola's demands: "Run. Just run. Run yourself into the ground. I give props to everyone because it’s not easy to do, but we do it week in, week out." Man Utd just got outrun by Leeds and aren't exactly front-foot under Carrick now. Amorim spoke about INTENSITY all the time but people only focused on the system and wanted him out. I'm not saying Iraola won't work. But I'm saying don't expect miracles and you'll need your patience until Man Utd buy a whole new midfield, replace their full backs, and have squad depth to be able to cope. New Promised Land Podcast out now.

Predictably, here’s Dermot Gallagher saying the Romero decision in NLD was correct, but dodging the question completely after saying a similar incident wasn’t a penalty in the United game a few weeks ago 🤷🏻‍♂️

INEOS have showed a continuous pattern of ballsing up so far. Ruben Amorim failed Man Utd & the sporting structure failed him too. Terrible match overall now it's ended prematurely. Full Promised Land Podcast out now. How both sides had rightful gripes with each other but why the behaviour of the structure IN THE END might suggest something has finally changed in the recruitment approach.

Palace's av. possession is 42.7%. 3rd lowest in PL. We know United struggle with the ball. That happened Monday & I want to see something different. Martinez back for quality & mentality, Shaw & Amad as WBs. Score first instead of waiting to concede. Promised Land Podcast out now 🔴
