I got up all day looking for my mom's medicine but it's not available. And from the great distance I traveled on foot, I suddenly found myself in front of the sea and wanted to share this sunset with you.

“I saw fishermen get hit right before my eyes, and their blood is still mixing with the waves. It’s very sad that you believe there is a ceasefire.”

This is happening now while the rest of the world enjoys a warm sleep, I am forced to deal with rainwater pooling and leaking into the tents.

It does not matter whether the Freedom Flotilla reaches our shores or not. What matters is that you tried, and that means a lot to me and to all of us. In my imagination, I embrace each and every one of you. No matter how much they try to stop us, I will keep waiting for you here — you will always find me on the shore. I wish freedom for all of you. You know, you are already the truly free ones. Those who imprison you are the real prisoners, because they are barbaric and unjust, and their brutality has now been exposed to the whole world.

I no longer know what to write. Words have been exhausted, and disappointment has drained our souls. A million times we believed the pain had ended — yet it returns, harsher each time. The bombardment continues, and people are dying once again. The occupation is never sated with blood; it hungers endlessly for the lives of the innocent. Fire belts have torn the sky above us since morning, devouring homes, burning away every trace of life. They killed so many — without mercy, without humanity. Nothing remains but smoke, screams, and the echo of fear in our eyes.
