Custom-built lens selection for Licht — Cinema Camera. There are so many details packed into this single interaction that make the overall feel just deeply satisfying. Took a couple hundred iterations to get here. Happy with how it turned out.

When you put your iPhone on the charger, Bauhaus Clock automatically appears with a soft, gentle fade. It’s a subtle detail, but it makes the whole moment feel more elegant and intentional. The video can’t do it justice. It looks stunning on the real device.

The visuals for the upcoming Bauhaus Clock have been completely re-worked. Everything feels more polished and crisp. And honestly, I love every bit of it.

Bauhaus Clock 1.2 is here. Obsessively refined. New features, refined visuals, invisible details. Yes, I obsessed over a screensaver (again). Because I deeply care about getting this right. So what's new?

Single tap, zero effort, instant lifelike colors. Sharing more unedited, straight-out-of-camera clips from the video recording app I’ve been building. Using it daily and seeing the results still blows my mind every time.

Bauhaus Clock for iPhone and iPad is here. Most apps you open. This one you display. The clock loved by thousands on Mac. Now in your pocket. On your desk. On your nightstand. Same obsessive craft. New canvas. Here's what's inside…

Introducing Licht Cinema Camera. Film the way you remember. The moment was cinema. Now the footage is too. I call it Licht. German for light. Licht is built around two essentials: the camera you hold, and the image pipeline inside it. One is how it feels. One is how it sees. Together, a camera experience unlike anything else on your iPhone. I poured my whole heart into this one. You'll see and feel it. Read the story and join the waitlist below.

This looks already great! I'm smiling and can't wait to work on improvements and new features. One detail I notcied in the simulator: the outer display renders slightly more saturated than the inner one. They simulated the matte coating. Pretty cool!

Watch. Listen. Feel. The movement settings in Bauhaus Clock for iOS are animated, haptic, audible, and orchestrated. Weeks of work to make even the tiniest details feel alive.

Tiny detail on the exposure and focus lock in Licht — Cinema Camera. Push it against any edge and it never leaves the camera frame, shrinking the further you push. Reach a corner and only that one takes on the radius of the frame itself. Most people will never notice this. But I'm designing the whole thing for myself first, and this way I sleep well at night.

The Bauhaus Clock 2.0 responses have honestly overwhelmed me. People writing full letters. Taking time to tell me what they feel. So I'm building a component where you can unfold and read each one. Fold, drag, interact. Because a carousel felt wrong. Soon on

Localizing App Store screenshots is great, but have you tried localizing App Preview titles? One click to generate titles across all languages automatically. It took me a few hours to nail the automation, but when it finally worked, it was one of those moments that made the whole day.
