Watching an influencer speak about wanting to return to her 9-5 reminded me that we need to stop looking down on traditional jobs… Not everyone will be an entrepreneur or content creator, and that’s okay. We should still encourage people to go to school, build careers and have something to fall back on because social media doesn’t always show the burnout and instability behind influencing. There is nothing wrong with thriving in your 9-5.

One thing I’m happy about is being in a generation where if someone cheats, you go. You leave. You rebuild. You move on. And you can tell from the way she’s speaking that she’s already emotionally moving forward. Yes, it’s still fresh, yes it probably still hurts, but look at her … she looks good, she sounds grounded, she’s got her own place, and at 29 she’s ready to start over if she has to.
