NBA 2k27 devs ima post this hoping somone sees it cause its not talked about enough... If we TAP THE SHOOT BUTTON. We do not EVER want to go in to a full layup animation on DRIVES. it makes 0 sense if layups are TIMING BASED that the system randomly puts us in a full layup animation on a BUTTON TAP If I have to TIME THE LAYUP. TIMING THE LAYUP involves HOLDING the button right?? then why would I ever want it to trigger a FULL LAYUP attempt? For 20+ Years Tapping the shoot button while dribbling always meant to STOP And Pump fake even if you fumble or stumble a bit. It wasnt until the last few 2ks this changed and hasnt been fixed. Your pretty much playing roulette anytime you try to pump fake in the mid range area cause theres a chance the game is gonna put you in a full blown layup animation you dont get a chance to time because you already tapped the button looking for a pump fake or a stop!
