I've consistently said a revolution is not a popularity contest. I went to the streets because I was sick and tired of the miserable lives my people and I were living. We went to the streets because we had nothing to lose but our miserable lives. I don't need anyone's approval to do what's right for our country. I will fight for the betterment of our people's social and material conditions, as well as for the stability of our country. If this will cost me popularity, so be it. The Internet has never liked me anyway. If it will cost me work, so be it. Our youth are languishing in unemployment. If it will cost me my life, I've said it time without number, so be it. I shall do my honest part, speak truth to power at any opportunity I get, while advocating for a stable Kenya for all of us to thrive. Inawezekana! If you don't like the way I agitate for change, go out and be the change you want to see.🇰🇪

To our SG and colleagues: Elected members of ODM must not engage in political chicanery. The party entered the Broad-Based arrangement for the sake of the country. You pushed for this arrangement in boardrooms; you must not now pretend to oppose it when you face the people. While it is important to strengthen our party, we must also uphold the values that make us ODM; bravery, integrity, and decisiveness in the face of political storms. I have heard you and a few elected leaders claim there is no such thing as a Broad-Based candidate. Yet, it is an open secret that both ODM and UDA sat down and negotiated zones in a spirit of political goodwill, even asking certain candidates to step down in specific regions and declaring mutual support as part of a broader effort toward national healing. We shall not allow the words of our party’s spokesperson to be weaponized verbatim by our opponents against our party and its candidates. No one tried to sabotage your election. Don’t do it to others. It is disingenuous for our Secretary General to feign ignorance of this arrangement while uttering faux-democratic statements to the masses and singing a different tune behind closed doors. We entered this agreement despite his reservations because Kenya was bigger. If you respect our Party Leader, set aside personal interests and serve the people. Hufai kuyavulia maji nguo kisha usiyakoge. The Ten-Point Agenda gives us ample room to hold this government accountable without creating confusion among our supporters. Some leaders speak eloquently about principles yet do little to ensure Nairobi’s leadership is answerable to the people. You signed that document alongside Baba. His word, not your feelings, carries. The honourable thing is to ensure his people get justice within the framework he left behind. When campaign season arrives, you may go your own way. But for now, let us focus on service and integrity. I will continue to speak on these matters, regardless of pressure from your circles. These are people’s lives, not a popularity contest. Let your mandate always rise above personal ambition. We will continue to speak this truth, no matter how uncomfortable, because that is the spirit of ODM. There are Broad-Based candidates from both ODM and UDA in the upcoming by-elections. There are Broad-Based priorities from ODM, enshrined in the Ten-Point Agenda. Let us focus. I wish all ODM candidates success in the upcoming by-elections and urge our legislators to focus on service delivery. Stop pretending, stop antagonizing the government for soft power or personal deals. The people are watching, and they shall judge you by your works.

The Youth League of The ODM Party extends our deepest condolences to the family of Albert Ojwang and unequivocally condemns his brutal death while in police custody. We demand an immediate end to extrajudicial killings. This cold-blooded act is a blatant betrayal of the MOU signed between our party and president Ruto's party, which explicitly commits to justice for victims of police brutality and decisive action to end these murders. You cannot kill us and expect to lead us. We, the youth of Kenya, demand full accountability and justice immediately.

Mr. Sifuna will toe the party line, or we, the young people of ODM, SHALL make him. You will not joke with the heritage Baba left us. We shall achieve our liberation, with or without you. You will respect our party and you will respect our Party Leader, Dr. Oburu Oginga.

I really wish I hadn’t dropped French in primary school😅. Now I struggle in meetings with even the basics like introductions, and lag behind when it comes to reports. Luckily, most of my sessions in Brussels will be taken in English. Still, I’m glad to be representing The ODM Youth League in such pivotal international fora as we celebrate ODM 20. Forever grateful for opportunities that push me out of my comfort zone! Chama Kubwa, Siku Zote! #ChungwaNation

Before you pretend to cancel Wadagliz, cancel the oppressive politicians, the lawyers who defend them, the doctors who treat them, the engineers who work for GoK, the Architects who draw the plans, the Teachers who teach their children etc... Your spite for artists in this country is so deep seated that you don't even notice it!
