Have to really commend Jacob and/or Jackson's storyboarding and framing in this scene, because the amount of first-time watchers/reactors I've seen who felt *immediate* dread before they ever see David's silhouette is impressive The one true horror-genre jumpscare of the series

The incredible thing about this scene is how much "older" they both sound and look compared to the first scene in the show. You can feel that hectic, years-long journey finally slowing down, but also how the emotional fatigue catches up to them.

This is the scene I really want thorough director/actors commentary on (Via the annotated scripts, DVD, however). IMHO the minor variances from the book redefined the relationship dynamics quite a bit, so would love to understand their thought processes 👀
