For those claiming that the iPhone Duo simply uses a Samsung display and puts Apple’s branding on it, here’s the reality. 👀 Apple has stated that the display did not exist in Samsung’s portfolio in the form Apple required. The two companies had to work together, with Apple providing its own specifications, engineering requirements, and design criteria to develop a display that met its standards. Not even Samsung’s existing OLED solutions met Apple’s exact requirements. The same goes for the hinge, which Apple has stated was fully engineered by Apple. Samsung may be the manufacturing partner, but that doesn’t mean it designed the entire technology. There’s a huge difference between supplying components and engineering a product around highly specific requirements. Just because Samsung manufactures the display doesn’t mean Apple simply took an off-the-shelf panel and put it into the iPhone Duo. 🗿 Video Credit :Michael Fisher

X300 Ultra vs iPhone 17 Pro Max — 4K 60fps Night Video This is a great example of why better hardware specifications don’t always translate into better real-world results. Camera performance is about much more than sensor size, megapixels, or lens specifications. The ISP, computational photography, noise reduction, HDR processing, tone mapping, stabilization, and most importantly how the software processes and interprets every pixel all play a crucial role. At night, the difference becomes even more apparent. Hardware captures the data, but software determines how much of that data is actually turned into a usable image. Specs matter, but optimization and image processing can matter just as much if not more.
