Palestinian owned burger joint, Burgertory, was arson attacked and burned down by Zoinists today in Melbourne, Australia. The Palestinian owner vocalized for a ceasefire online calling for an end to the genocide of his people and this proceeded after! 💔 WOW. THIS IS UTTERLY DISGUSTING!

A lawyer in New York stalked and harassed a Muslim man while he was delivering Uber Eats in Brooklyn. She commanded him to take off the Kuffiyeh on his neck and proceeded to stalk and harass him in her car. She called him a terrorist, to which he responded, "Be original, I already heard that before." She needs to be disbarred, arrested, and convicted for a hate crime!

This is Dearborn, Michigan. Look carefully at what you are seeing. Many of the hands offering you a bottle of water belong to people whose families have spent the last year pulling loved ones from beneath rubble in Lebanon and elsewhere in the Middle East. Many have buried relatives. Many still wake up every morning wondering whether the people they love are alive. And yet they are here, serving you. Think about the irony. People whose families have endured war are feeding strangers in a country whose government has supported military campaigns that have devastated parts of the region their families still call home. Most people would understand if grief became bitterness. Ashura teaches the opposite. A tyrant denied water, so we give water. A tyrant starved children, so we feed anyone who comes. A tyrant tried to extinguish human dignity, so we make serving humanity an act of worship. That is the philosophy of Imam Hussayn. The greatest answer to tyranny is not becoming the tyrant. America does not need to fear the people handing out food on its streets. It should fear the moral numbness that allows bombs to be funded from comfortable offices while the people burying the victims are the same people setting out tables, filling cups, and refusing to let strangers leave hungry. Ask yourself what kind of philosophy produces that. Not revenge. Not hatred. Not vengeance. Mercy. The descendants of grief are serving the beneficiaries of power, not because oppression deserves kindness, but because Hussayn taught that your humanity is measured by what you become in the face of injustice, not by what injustice became. Empires measure greatness by power. Ashura measures greatness by conscience. One leaves behind ruins. The other leaves behind humanity
