We won’t get over losing Medicaid. I have lived with leukemia for the last nine years because I have a miracle drug. The Bill, they are trying to pass today would cut off access to that miracle drug. The people who love me will never get over that. #WeWontGetOverLosingMedicaid.

Medicaid pays for the treatment of my leukemia without access. I can’t fight effectively against my leukemia. Republicans are trying to defund Medicaid and they’re calling patients like me waste fraud and abuse. Call your senator. Tell them #VoteNo on the budget bill.

#ActUpSaveHealthcare Pride plays an important role in why I’m alive to this day. It was a Prep+ appointment that revealed that I have leukemia. I was connected to care and alive to this day b/c of programs like Prep+ Trump‘s budget cuts threatens these programs that save lives.🏳️🌈

How do you treat cancer without medication? You can’t. Donald Trump‘s Big Ugly Bill puts my life in jeopardy by defending Medicaid. My medication to treat leukemia has $246,000 a year I would be left defenseless against my leukemia if this bill passes. #SaveMedicaidKillTheBill ✊

I live with leukemia. I’m disabled. My medication costs $246,000 a year. Medicaid is the only reason I’m still breathing. And conservatives want to take that from me. For what? Tax cuts? Politics? Power? I did not choose this body, this illness, this fight but I’m in it now, begging this country not to discard me like trash. I am not a budget cut. I am not a burden. I am a human being, fighting to live. If you believe in mercy, in justice, in basic decency then stand with me. Demand better. #SaveOurMedicaid Here is a video of me in the hospital during a relapse and my insurance company as turned off.
