I would love this BUT it would require a more serious approach to The Game Awards. After hearing this explanation of how nominations and winner selection ACTUALLY works, I don’t have faith in the current process having any clue how to even do this well… especially for mocap.

The TLOU games explore what love causes you to do. So it's out of love that I offer some critiques on TLOU S2. I'll make this short. Let's start with the central theme of TLOU2 story: "If I ever were to lose you, I'd surely lose myself." The game nailed that. The show didn't.

Well, FF7 Remake on Switch 2 passed the boss battle test… Not noticing 30fps, but more sensitive eyes might notice. Just very happy the frame rate is rock solid. Only weird thing is they changed the Command menu button to A (⭕️) vs B (❌) so my muscle memory is off 😂

They just kept dropping FF7 news 👀 I'm pretty sure that if Maximilian Dood kept streaming long enough, we'd have gotten a Part 3 reveal trailer last night. So still being still trailer-less is basically his fault, y'all. He denies it here, but the evidence is DAMING 🤣

This is a HELL of a find! Apparently Hamaguchi said he was most looking forward to the LSS in Pt 3 and thinks “they nailed it.” The full story sounds plausible. I don’t know Vinesauce, but main channel has 1m+ followers. It’s also Nojima/Nomura’s fav part so always had faith.

As much as I LOVE Expedition 33’s combat, I don’t think Final Fantasy needs to chase this. If anything, chasing the latest “thing” has been FF’s biggest problem for over a decade. The FF7R system is another hybrid approach that could be unique to FF & gaming. From my vid:

Oh shit, that’s a good call by Maximilian Dood on why that Sephiroth crawling scene was SO WEIRD. As for FF having to be Teen rated… I still think this is a fallacy the industry believes (same in Hollywood w/ PG13) Some of the biggest franchises are M-rated (GTA, COD, AC, RE).

OH... MY... GOD... I had forgotten about that. I remembered that feeling meta but forgot. Very much a hint that FF7R Part 3 will give us some new outcome that isn't exactly the clear options on the table. A menu is literally laid out and the vendor grabs something off-menu 🤯
