Went to the fridge to prepare a tax payment and started to panic when I could not find the sharp cheddar! Fear started to come over me, my mind was racing, what to do, do I give them some of the good smoked cheese? No, if I do that they will know I have been holding out on them. Panic had completely set in, then like a ray of light form the heavens I spotted a block of sharp cheddar😄 I cant keep having these close calls with these 3 🤣

Them dang revenuers came by today, they heard I’ve been making some illegal ice cream up here. I was able to convince them that I hadn’t been making ice cream but I did have to pay them off with some cheese while they were here. Boy howdy that was a close one.🤣🤣

When the decision was made some time ago that we had to refinish the floors due to clear sealer coming off and exposing bare wood we had to decide what was our goal. We wanted to keep as much of the dings, sawmill marks, burns in front of the fireplaces or as I call it, the floors character. To do that I can’t sand all the original stain out because I would lose everything I wanted to keep. This video shows about what it is going to look like. Of course all the edges still need sanding but it gives an idea of what the finished product will look like. I know it’s not what some would want but at the end of the day there is only 2 of us that have to be pleased with it. Tomorrow I’ll sand the other sections, oh boy!🤣

Someone suggested a little tape on the bottom, made a nice difference. Maybe I need to go to the big hill now and try to dodge trees 🤣🤣🤣
