Don’t understand why people knowingly put themselves and their families in such trouble just because a holiday falls on a Friday or Monday. Everyone rushes Rishikesh, Manali, Nainital etc. pays 2–3x for rooms, inflated taxi and food prices, can’t find a room and ends up sleeping on the road and then complains about the place. It’s 10x better to spend three relaxed days with your family, have good food, explore your own city, go for a drive, and enjoy your time! Indian tourist destinations are not so tourist-friendly. Protect your peace.
