Very common. I’ve seen whole carriages where every single window is smashed. British transport police basically don’t exist anymore. If you want more people to use trains this stuff should anger you.

I spoke to protest organisers earlier in the week, and they were confident today would be Britain’s largest protest since 2003. Looks like they were right.

The account that posted this on Instagram said the police were called. They proceeded to give a police reference number and….not turn up. In large parts of the country the police simply no longer exist. It’s not just resources. It’s personnel.

‘Chelmsley Wood Patriots’ stopping Indian guys - one studying for his masters - and telling them to stay in their house and not come back. That’s right: they’re trying to create actual ‘no go zones’. Intimidating, yobbish behaviour.

This is insane. Labour’s Bridget Phillipson says she took a £14,000 donation, primarily to throw a birthday party. She’s smiling while she divulges this information. I’m genuinely in awe that they don’t appear to see how bad this looks.
