Why reductionist analysis in biology is a philosophical mistake: Michael Levin to Denis Noble: What have you learned from eastern philosophy that has informed your interest in biology? Denis Noble: There is no philosophical basis for saying that the only way to look at living organisms is through reductionist analysis.
