IBRAHIM MAQARE, YOU ARE COMPLETELY WRONG Muḥṣanāt Does NOT Only Mean “Married Women,” and Your Translation of the Zina Verse Collapses Under Basic Quranic Arabic! Maqare, you are a professor of language, not an Islamic scholar or specialist in tafsir and fiqh. In your submission you treated the word al-muḥṣanāt as if it exclusively means “married women” and used that reading to argue that the stoning punishment for married adulterers has no basis in Islam. That reading is simply incorrect. Look at the very verse you highlighted, Quran 4:25: فَإِذَا أُحْصِنَّ فَإِنْ أَتَيْنَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ فَعَلَيْهِنَّ نِصْفُ مَا عَلَى الْمُحْصَنَاتِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ “But once they are sheltered in marriage, if they should commit adultery, then for them is half the punishment for the free [women].” In this verse al-muḥṣanāt is set in clear contrast with the slave girls. It means free women. The married slave girl who commits zina receives half the punishment that applies to free women half of the 100 lashes for free unmarried fornicators (50 lashes). Muḥṣanāt/muḥsināt (root ḥ-ṣ-n, “to fortify/protect”) is not limited to married women in the Quran. Context decides the meaning: • Quran 4:25 (same verse): the slave girls should be taken “chaste (muḥṣanātin), not those who commit unlawful intercourse openly nor those who take secret lovers.” • Quran 5:5: lawful in marriage are “chaste women (al-muḥṣanāt) from among the believers and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you…” e.t.c Your claim that muḥṣanāt “only” means married women is therefore linguistically and contextually false. The Actual Islamic Ruling on Stoning the Married Adulterer. The majority position of Ahl al-Sunnah (the four schools of fiqh Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi‘i and Hanbali) is that rajm (stoning to death) is the prescribed hadd punishment for a muhsan (a free, adult, sane Muslim who has previously consummated a valid marriage) who commits zina, when the strict evidentiary conditions are met (four eyewitnesses to the act of penetration itself, or a clear, voluntary four-fold confession). This ruling rests on: •Mutawatir and well-authenticated hadiths in which the Prophet (SAW) both stated the rule and applied it. •The practice of the Rightly Guided Caliphs. •The consensus of the Companions, Successors and the scholars of the four schools. Only groups such as the Khawarij and some later modernist or Quranist trends rejected it. Documented cases in which the Prophet (SAW) ordered stoning include: •Ma‘iz ibn Malik al-Aslami a Muslim man who repeatedly confessed that he had committed zina while married; after the Prophet confirmed he was sane and married, he was stoned. •The Ghamidiyyah woman a Muslim woman who confessed to adultery and was stoned. •The married woman in the well-known case involving Unais (Bukhari & Muslim): the Prophet sent Unais to her; she confessed and was stoned. •Two Jewish adulterers were also stoned (the Prophet applied the Torah ruling to them). These were not cases of “Muslims being spared.” When a married Muslim met the conditions (usually by insistent confession), the Prophet applied the punishment. Here is my Direct Question Maqare If, as you claim, stoning for married adulterers is not part of Islam and was never applied to Muslims, can you name even one authentic case during the lifetime of the Prophet (SAW) in which a married Muslim adulterer (or adulteress) who met the evidentiary standard was deliberately not stoned simply because he or she was a Muslim? The historical record shows the opposite: the known cases of married persons who confessed were stoned including Muslims. A language professor should be careful with the range of meanings of a Quranic root and with the distinction between the Quranic text and the established Sunnah that the ummah has followed for fourteen centuries. On both the linguistic point and the ruling of rajm, the claim does not hold.

A social media activist from Nasarawa State, known as Oscar, visited Governor A.A. Sule kneeling down crying, pleading for forgiveness. While the meeting was ongoing, former Governor and ex-APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, who was present in the Governor’s office, strongly opposed forgiving the activist, citing his repeated insults against the Governor and members of the state cabinet. May we never become slave to any politician.

I have repeatedly stated here that Pastor Dachomo Ezekiel is a complete fraud and a liar. His real motive is to secure money and asylum abroad ("Japa") at any cost. Watch this woman carefully as she exposes him using his own documents — the very evidence he presented to push the false narrative of a "genocide" in Jos/Plateau State. Pastor Ezekiel must publicly apologize to Nigerians for deliberately distorting the truth about the killings in Plateau State and persistently labeling them a "Christian genocide," even though his own published materials contradict his claims. Zariyi Yusuf Madaki Dr. Croc🇳🇬🇫🇷🇷🇼🇿🇦🇮🇱 come and hear the truth.

Today, my almajiri boy melted my heart. ❤️❤️😭😭 He came yesterday, but I wasn’t around. My staff told him I wasn’t feeling well and asked him to come back today. He returned with ₦330 and said it was for me to buy oranges and bananas. 🥹 It may seem like a small amount, but to me, it felt like ₦330,000. It’s never about the money it’s the thought and the love behind it. I prayed for him, blessed him, and told him we definitely need a photoshoot together. At this point, I think he’s officially my little Brand Ambassador and my other son. 🤍 #yaronmanti

If you are looking for Wasted population meet Shiites Thousands of Shi'a members reportedly took over one side of the Kaduna–Kano Expressway as they headed to Zaria 1st August 2026, disrupting traffic on a major highway This is the kind of lawlessness that fueled the tough stance taken by the FG/El-Rufai administration. No one is above the law or should be allowed to shut down critical roads and inconvenience thousands of other Nigerians.

An Open Letter to the Cameroon Government and the People of Cameroon on the Mass Immigration of Fulani Pastoralists from Nigeria Dear People of Cameroon 🇨🇲 Diplomatie Cameroun /Cameroon Diplomacy I write this open letter with a heart full of concern, hope, and a deep appeal to humanity, brotherhood, and compassion. Currently, there is a caravan of Fulani pastoralists from Nigeria, with millions of their animals comprising cattle, sheep, and donkeys, trooping into your country. These are not just people moving from one place to another; they are families, mothers, fathers, children, the elderly, and the sick, carrying their lives, their hopes, and their means of survival along with their animals. Please, do not panic. They are refugees fleeing insecurity, hardship, and attacks from tribal militias and other armed groups in Nigeria. They are people searching for safety, peace, green pastures, and water for their animals the same basic needs that every human being desires. Yes, there are criminal activities being committed by a few bad elements among pastoralist communities, as there are in every society. But we must not allow the actions of a few individuals to become a reason to condemn an entire community of innocent men, women, and children who are suffering and searching for refuge. Please, in the interest of humanity, embrace them. Allow them to continue their journey to safe destinations that range from the bushes and forests of Cameroon, where they can continue their pastoralist way of life, to other parts of Central Africa. Part of this caravan is heading toward Central Africa, Gabon, as well as the bushes and forests of Congo, seeking safety for their lives and searching for green pastures and water for their animals. To the people of Cameroon, remember that welcoming those in need is a reflection of humanity, compassion, and African brotherhood. The strength of our continent has always been found in our ability to support one another during moments of difficulty. 1/2
