*Ghana secures Partnership under the 24-Hour Economy Agenda in China* Following the official state visit of President John Dramani Mahama to China last year, at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping , a high-level government delegation led by the Presidential Advisor to the 24-Hour Economy Secretariat Mr Augustus Tanoh has concluded strategic engagements in Beijing , China. Through the initiative of the *Minister of Tourism Culture and Creative Arts* , Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, today at *Beijing Language and Culture University*, an MoU was signed to deepen cooperation in Tourism, Arts, Culture, Festivals, Film, Music, and Culinary Heritage. The partnership also secures an international exhibition for Ghana in Beijing in March 2026 and paves the way for the establishment of a Ghana–China Research Institute for Tourism, Arts and Culture.

Did you Know that in every 3 days 48,000 bags of cement equivalent to 2,400,000 kg and 5.3 to 5.4 million litres of petroleum products equivalent to 98 bulk road vehicles fuel tankers carrying approximately 54,000 litres of fuel transported from Tema to Buipe in the Northern part of Ghana through the Akosombo Port. In just a single a single tug voyage , the vessel is capable of carrying equivalent of 48 articulated trucks and 98 fuel tankers from our road in one trip on the volta lake. The Volta lake bulk haulage takes away nearly 100 fuel tankers and dozens of heavy trucks carrying cement, reducing highway congestion, road wear, fuel consumption, and transport costs. We commend H.E President John Dramani Mahama for the “Big Push” Infrastructure Projects sets to transform Ghana’s Transportation Infrastructure.
