Is it permissible for a man to suck the breast of his wife? While answering this question, Shaykh Dr Sharafudeen Gbadebo distinguishes between the Shariah ruling that prohibits marriage between a man and a woman who had sucked the same breast when they were under 2 years even if they were of different parents and a man sucking the breast of his wife.

If this were part of Islam, they would never do it. ۩ Abu Dhar said, "I was with the Prophet ﷺ one day and I heard him saing: “There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal.” It was then that I became afraid, so I said: 'Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?" He ﷺ said, “Misguided and astray scholars.” (MUSNAD AHMAD 21334)

Mallam Yusuf Adepoju has declared that he is no longer a spectator in the matter concerning ‘Taa’ni Ọlọhun’, following a statement in which he said his name was expressly mentioned. Adepoju said he had deliberately maintained a dignified silence and refrained from making public pronouncements on the matter, choosing to observe the unfolding events from a distance. However, in a statement dated August 26, 2026, and termed, "Prospective Complainant Against Taa'ni Ọlọhun, ” Adepoju said his position had changed after his attention was drawn to a statemen made by ‘Taa’ni Ọlọhun’ in which his name was invoked in an attempt to justify his defence and, by implication, draw him into the matter. According to him, by mentioning his name in connection with the matter, he had effectively been invited into it, and he was therefore acknowledging the invitation. Adepoju said he was no longer a silent observer or distant spectator, adding that if his name had been deployed as part of the narrative, justification or defence surrounding the matter, he reserved the right to become fully involved, subject to truth, fairness and the law. Addressing ‘Taa’ni Ọlọhun’, Adepoju said: “Thank you for inviting me into your matter. You have made me a party to it. I am now involved!” He concluded with the Yoruba expression, “Taa'ni Ọlọhun, O KÚU ÀM'ÓJÚBÀ MI. ÀSÌKÒ TÓ WÀYÍ Ò !!”

While it is obvious that the person who cut out the clip on TikTok did it for content sake and you also shared it for the same reason, it is expedient to set the record straight. Here is another video of the Shaykh explaining that the ruling of the Shareeah he was explaining IS ONLY MEANT FOR COUNTRIES WHERE THE SHARIAH IS FULLY BEING PRACTISED and it is meant to be carried out by the authorities through the Shariah Court NOT BY any random person or the mob as we've seen in some part of the country. Once again, what he was explaining is firmly established in our religion, similar ruling exists in Christianity too. For context: In Deuteronomy 13 (KJV), the death penalty is prescribed in three situations. The relevant passages are: 1. False prophet or dreamer (Verse 5) > "And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee." — Deuteronomy 13:5 (KJV) 2. A close relative or friend who entices you to worship other gods (Verses 8–10) > "Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:" > "But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people." > "And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage." — Deuteronomy 13:8–10 (KJV) 3. An Israelite city that turns to idolatry (Verses 14–15) > "Then shalt thou inquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;" > "Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword." — Deuteronomy 13:14–15 (KJV) Cc: Depegan of Lagos 🇳🇬🇺🇸 👳🏾♂️Mufti Of Ilorin Online 👳🏾♂️

Court Adjourns Criminal Complaint Against Social Media Influencer Bennylee to August 6 The Magistrate Court sitting in Ilorin on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of a direct criminal complaint filed against social media influencer and blogger, Ifagbemiro Olamigoke Adewola, popularly known as Bennylee, until August 6, 2026. The complaint was instituted by the Registered Incorporated Trustees of Ilorin Heritage Preservation Foundation, alleging that the defendant committed offences bordering on inciting disturbance, insulting or inciting contempt of a religious creed, injuring or defiling a place of worship, and injurious falsehood, contrary to Sections 114, 210, 211 and 393(1) of the Penal Code Law, Cap P4, Laws of Kwara State. According to the complaint, Bennylee allegedly posted on his social media platforms, including Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok and YouTube, a photograph showing a clay pot containing boiled eggs and palm oil placed on the Holy Qur'an, accompanied by a Yoruba caption which the complainant contends was offensive to Islam and the Holy Qur'an. The Ilorin Heritage Preservation Foundation further alleged that the post generated widespread reactions on social media, including comments capable of inciting religious tension and disturbing public peace. The complainant urged the court to set the machinery of the law in motion against the defendant. The matter came up before the Magistrate Court in Ilorin on Tuesday, where both parties were represented. After proceedings, the court adjourned the case until August 6, 2026, for further hearing. The allegations remain before the court, and no determination has yet been made on the merits of the case. Diamond fm.

If all the years they've spent going to Asalatu had been channeled into learning the basics of the deen, this unfortunate thing wouldn't be happening. How will a Muslim who can't recite fathia correctly observe salaat and expect Allaah to observe such salaat?!

Yet another 'unproductive' Saudi-trained Arabic and Islamic Studies graduate. Why couldn't he just study French literature or political science, get a government job, and live off taxpayer money? Instead, he went and founded over 15 companies, employed hundreds of Gambians, and became one of the largest taxpayers in the country. Very unproductive.😎 -Muhammad Bah
