What the actual? Once again aspersions are cast over the validity of our place in society. This seems to be a narrative from certain groupings in Government. Here we have Danny Healy Rae TD once again gaslighting our community. It’s disgraceful, it needs to be retracted from the record of the house and an apology made in relation to this statement. Sophia has wanted to make this video as she is fed up waiting for Dublin City Council to fix the footpath and access out side the shops in Marino. This is the safe route she takes home from school but for 5 weeks now she has had to rely on others to help her get back up on the footpath. This disables her and she has to wait to ask for help. Not good enough! We need to see this fixed ASAP and we need DCC to be more proactive in seeing to it footpaths are always accessible especially for our Mobility impaired community. Cara and her Dad asked Bernard to come in last night to help them set up and get ready for their sleep out protest. It was quite in town and the Gardai were very helpful and reassured them that they would be safe and secure for the duration of their protest.
