3rd and 11 and the Pats bring a 0 blitz. Lawrence checks to get Strange into the pass pro, and all he has to do is beat one man. Nice play by Meyers to make a guy miss and get the first

Liam Coen is gonna come back to this one later in the season. 11 personnel with Parker Washington in the backfield. Fake the handoff to Washington, and the goal is to get Rodriguez on the wheel route out the backfield. Rodriguez ends up running into Cleveland (#76) though

Look at Jets' RG Joe Tippmann (#66) get out on the horse! Jets are running power, and you get a couple nice blocks from Mason Taylor (#85) and Jelani Woods (#86), and it leaves Tippmann 1v1 with a corner

Liam Coen had to be hot about this Deone Walker batted pass, took a potential explosive off the board on a well drawn up play

let's talk about the Cooks play: Jaguars are in 2-Read, or Palms coverage. They've run it a lot this year, trying to coax the offense into throwing the out route and the CB jumps it. However, the rules for Palms (and I want to preface before saying, I am not in that mtg room)...

#Cincinnati LB Jake Golday (#11) is an interesting prospect in a loaded LB class. 6'4, 240, former EDGE who is an explosive player downhill and takes on blocks really well. You can see the inexperience in coverage + some deficiencies in lateral movement, but the dude can play

I think this is one Trevor would probably want back. Parker Washington is open on the deep crosser, he doesn't pull it and goes for the route to Strange

On the Christian Watson TD, the Vikings almost get Jordan Love. They get 7 up at the line and GB decides to protect it up by leaving Kraft and the RB in to block it up. Theo Jackson (#26) takes a bad angle to the ball and Watson. GB also catches MIN while they were communicating

Talked about Vikings’ rookie LB Jake Golday on CBS Sports Network as a guy to watch in the preseason. Eric Wilson led all off ball LBs in snaps lined up on the edge last season, and Golday is tailor made for that role

Got to talk about this story on CBS Sports HQ, where I talked about the fit of R Mason Thomas and the #Chiefs in the 2nd round, and why he’s the perfect changeup to their pass rush arsenal
