The government has no intention of introducing final legislation on cap gains before the House rises. Maybe there will be carveouts, or pulled altogether. Since the government is banking on $7B of revenue from taxpayers disposing assets before June 25, people deserve to know what the final rules will be. A deeply unserious approach to a material issue for physicians, small businesses, farmers, families and entrepreneurs.
