I, anecdotally notice an ever increasing interest in UK in European football - from shirts (current & retro) to organised trips to games, media consumption etc Even when I do Sunday night 🇮🇹 I get messages off people saying it’s become part of their routine Mad how you can trace so much of that back to this, which opened so many people’s eyes to another footballing world in the 90s

Whenever I posted about Naples this week I got replies doing down the city. Clearly the attacks on some Chelsea fans were a disgrace - I hope all affected are home and ok. However, all the Neapolitans I came into contact with were welcoming, helpful and proud of their city - really special to visit the Spanish Quarter in particular, a place any fan of European football should go 🩵
