I watched Paul for the first time and it’s not as great as any of the Cornetto films, but I had some solid laughs, maybe even a bit underrated. But this line…YOU’RE TELLING ME THIS ISNT FROM BARRY?! THEY PUT THIS LINE IN THE MOVIE ABOUT THE WEED SMOKING ALIEN?!

Just saw someone call this the most inexplicable 12 seconds in rap history and you know what…it might be. At no point did I expect the next bar. This song was number 10 on the charts at one point btw.

My favorite internet saga right now is the guy on tiktok who has been leading into edits of prime Klay Thompson with clips from Ted considered “gay” He then received a cease and desist from Klay’s PR, only to add that to the edits

In my freshman year of film school, my media criticism prof showed us this video of a Sizzler promotional video, and I have never forgotten it. It’s been 7 years.

Ludwig Göransson has absolutely earned all of the trophies he’s won, but it will always be funny for me to think of him as “three time Oscar winner and also guy who made the beat to Bonfire by Childish Gambino”

Remembering the time Pitbull rapped the lyrics to War over the American Boy beat to protest Bush and the war…while also claiming Bush knocked down the towers, and wanting a revolution because money is evil…but nothing communist obviously. THIS MAN. IS AN ENIGMA.

Listen it’s not for everyone, but the moment when Onslaught cut to Eric Wareheim playing a drunk as fuck incompetent cop swerving his patrol car and blasting this, that might be one of my favorite moments in cinema this year.
