Returning from the Norfolk estate I saw how the roads & lanes around Althorp may well look if we didn't move so much rubbish ourselves. If this is deemed acceptable by our authorities on a major road entering Northampton (A45), something is very wrong. Conservation@althorp.com

Two of our barn owls in full colour today. The females are generally darker, heavier and bigger, but I have seen colour variations making identification on colouring alone difficult. Females normally have the buff markings on their chests and darker feathers overall. Conservation@althorp.com Chris Payne
