Special forces soldiers from Australia and Brunei Darussalam have shared skills and developed friendships during a military exercise. 23 personnel from Brunei’s Rejimen Pasukan Khas (RPK) travelled to Sydney, Australia in September for Exercise Dusk Leopard 2026. The three weeks of training included close combat drills that made use of the Australian special forces' specially designed shooting ranges. RPK personnel also practiced counter-terrorism scenarios with Australia's 1st Commando Regiment. Soldiers from Brunei and Australia conducted parachute drills in combined teams from Royal Australian Air Force aircraft and jumped into the ocean off Australia's coast. The longstanding partnership strengthened relationships, interoperability and shared understanding.
