सिमरीबख्तियारपुर (सहरसा), कांग्रेस पार्टी के कार्यकाल का सबसे भयावह ट्रेन दुर्घटना , जिसमें बहुत से लोगों के परिजनों को उनके शव भी नहीं मिले और इंदिरा गांधी ने मृतकों के शवों को ढुंढने की कोशिश भी नहीं की ! 1981 Bihar Train Accident इतिहास के पन्नों का वह काला दिन है जिसे याद कर आज भी दिल सिहर उठता है। आज से ठीक 43 साल पहले की उस घटना की याद आज भी सिहरन पैदा कर देती है। छह जून 1981 को सहरसा-मानसी रेलखंड के धमारा घाट के पुल संख्या 51 पर हुई यह रेल दुर्घटना भारत की सबसे बड़ी और विश्व की दूसरी सबसे बड़ी ट्रेन दुर्घटना थी !
