In a conversation hosted by the Atlantic Council, our MD and GCEO, & Executive Chairman of XRG, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, discussed the strategic priorities behind the UAE’s decision to move away from OPEC. With oil demand staying well above 100 million barrels per day into the 2040s, the UAE aims to utilize the flexibility to invest, grow, expand and create long-term value for a nation whose strength is measured not by the abundance of its resources, but by how they are harnessed to serve its people.
