UTEP football head coach Scotty Walden has a pitch to Miner fans after their game at Michigan and ahead of homecoming on Saturday against Oregon State. "I just challenge anybody going to the game, bring a friend. We had 25,000 (versus Texas Southern), which was the second most attended game in the Mountain West... We need to have 30,000 rockin and going crazy. I guarantee you that our team is going to play hard."

UTEP head coach Scotty Walden didn’t appreciate the decision by Delaware coach Ryan Carty. The Blue Hens finished the year 6-6 after their 61-31 win. Walden on the postgame broadcast: “I think it's an incredibly classless move by Delaware, and they ought to be embarrassed, calling a timeout and kicking the last field goal there. I think it's an embarrassing look on their head coach. I think it's an embarrassing look on their program.” #MinerTalk

UTEP head coach Scotty Walden was frustrated and disappointed regarding the 58-yard rushing score for USU that was called a touchdown, not out of bounds, along with a DPI penalty. “It’s very clear their guy stepped out of bounds… I sent three clips in and I’m going to fight for this program… the level of disrespect we have, I don’t appreciate it, we have to earn it.” #MinerTalk
