Describing a ban on Israeli passports as collective punishment is a fallacious argument. Firstly, visiting Maldives is not a fundamental human right. Denying Israelis to holiday here is not a denial of rights nor is it a punishment. You enter someone’s home only with their consent. The simple truth is, Israelis are not welcome here. Secondly, Israel claims to be a democracy. These atrocities are being carried out by the very leaders Israelis voted for. Eight months and it only keeps getting worse. All citizens bear responsibility for the actions of their elected leaders.
