DNE Africa exclusive footage from southern Gondar, Alem Ber town. On Wednesday fighting intensified between FANO militias and the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) in southern Gondar. FANO has made significant territorial gains, taking control of Ambesame, Wereta, Gasaye, Alem Ber, and Addis Zemen after routing ENDF units stationed there. FANO now controls Ambesame town, the district's administrative center. Fano also launched an offensive within 20 kilometers of Gondar city, cutting off the Gondar-Bahir Dar highway and taking control of Maksegnit. They stormed a city prison, releasing political prisoners.
