“One morning, I went to check on our guests having breakfast. My back was to the waterhole. Suddenly everyone went quiet and just stared at me, their faces full of disbelief. I thought, have I said something strange? But then I clocked and I asked, “Is there something behind me?” Cue all the nodding. I turned around to see a female lion walking past the Elephant Pool. She looked at us, let out a call to rally the others, and then calmly sat down right in front of the pool. At that point, we were a mix of pure excitement and disbelief. Just when we thought that was it, three more lions arrived. Four lions in total! The most incredible sight. It felt like they had joined us for breakfast.
