Shocking footage from the Democratic Republic of Congo shows a Congolese soldier who was being given instructions to eliminate anyone with a long nose. A Kenyan man was almost shot for having a long nose, similar to those of many Rwandese. In the video, the soldier threatens mechanics working on trucks, saying, "This is Congo, we have permission to eliminate anyone with a long nose because they are all Rwandese" President Felix Tshisekedi of Congo is known for tribalism, and it is reflected in the DRC Army. As long as the international community remains silent, more Congolese citizens will be eliminated simply because of the features of their nose.

A man in Morogoro, Tanzania, came home empty-handed and was beaten by his wife and her sister. He didn’t fight back, not because he’s weak, but because self-defense would make him the villain and likely land him in jail. This is the silent reality for countless men: absorb the pain or be destroyed by a system that preaches equality but only protects one gender. When men suffer, society laughs or looks away. Laws, courts, and public opinion are stacked against us. That’s why so many are walking away from marriage and family, not from fear of responsibility, but fear of annihilation. GBV should be handled equally. We stand with anyone facing GBV.

This man takes care of a herd of elephants. One day, however, his wife fell seriously ill, and he had to leave the elephants to look after her. He spent the next six months in a hospital far away, caring for his sick wife and unable to see the elephants. When he returned after six months, something beautiful happened: the elephants refused to let him out of their sight. They followed him everywhere, never wanting him to leave again. He had been reunited with his beloved elephants. Sometimes, human beings should learn from animals.

32 years ago, Rwanda suffered the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. The country was left in ruins, one of the poorest nations on earth, with over one million bodies lying in the streets awaiting burial. There were no teachers, no doctors, and virtually no functioning institutions. Nothing worked. Yet, from that zero point, the RPF Inkotanyi, the movement that stopped the genocide, under the leadership of Paul Kagame, began the long journey of rebuilding. Today, Rwanda is steadily advancing toward first-world standards. Its people are adopting the mindset, discipline, and vision of a developed nation. Look at this simple street: organized traffic, well-maintained grass verges, paved walkways, clean roads, and orderly citizens. The lesson is clear: To become a first-world country, you must think and work like one. It is possible for African nations to rise and achieve similar progress. What Africa needs is for its citizens to consistently elect serious, visionary, and accountable leaders who are committed to long-term development.

Foreigners in; "When I see the Rwandan Police, I don’t get scared. Sometimes I even get excited. One thing is, you’re not bothered because you look different. When the police stop you, they don’t ask you for a bribe." More African countries need this type of leadership
