Lime is being dropped off as soon as we pulled out of this field! There are a few fields with low pH so after harvest, lime is dumped on the field edge and then spread with a spreader according to the needs of the field based off soil sample results. Lime raises the pH which makes nutrients more available for the plants. It is expensive to spread though!

If you need a sign to get of your hind end and start taking care of yourself, take this as one‼️ Last September was probably one of the lowest points I was at after my brother died, and I started turning that train around that October. So grateful I started putting in the work and really understanding my body. Got lots of blood work done, met with my dietician, and stopped eating like garbage. You only get one body 🕺

I sampled over 30,000 acres of soil last fall to ensure that the farmers we work with know what their nutrient levels are at and that we can be more precise with nutrient application in this upcoming season. Time doesn’t make the grief go away, but it shifts. I still miss Sam every single day and wish he was here but I can’t change that. What I have been doing is donating the proceeds from the tshirt created in memory of Sam to Jae’s Place They have the resources to help those who need it and to encourage genuine check ins with those you love or those you think could use a chat. 10/10 would recommend and I hope one day I can do something in memory of Sam to that extent. Miss you kiddo.
