Today, I stood at the furthest point we could reach in northern Gaza. We stopped after hearing the sound of tank fire. The city of Jabalia, once bustling with life, has become rubble upon rubble. The scenes of destruction are impossible for the mind to comprehend. I returned… carrying within my soul the pain of an entire city, the city that was once called “Gaza” today i became a witness to its own end.

I filmed this video at the Egyptian–Palestinian border while we were displaced in Rafah, just meters away from this towering wall, and behind it stood the Arab Republic of Egypt. We believed that by approaching the Egyptian border, the Zionist occupation would not dare to commit massacres before the eyes of the largest Arab country. But the massacre was happening just meters away from this wall, inside Gaza. Gaza, to this Arab state, was like a vast prison—one that no one could leave unless they could afford to pay $5,000 to survive. They did not care that just meters beyond this wall, we were being bombed and killed… and I still ask: why was this wall built ? This war did not only kill us, it revealed the truth, silence, complicity, and abandonment. From the heart of Gaza, we will not forget… and we will never forgive.

Today we are lucky; by a miracle, I managed to provide a single tomato and a piece of bread for my friend daughter, I am so happy to have this piece for the 2 years old daughter. I wish she could has the same tomorrow. It may seem like simple food, but it keeps them alive. Please, do not leave them alone. Their dreams are simple: a piece of bread every day to keep life going. Please donate and share.

I write to you and my eyes drowning in tears and hunger devouring my body, but all this was bearable compared to watching my little nephew eat the last remnants of ground chickpeas after long hours of crying of hunger. Today, 17 of my siblings’ children tasted nothing but water. Today was the most brutal and devastating day throughout all the days of the war. I swear to you, I no longer have the strength to stand, my body is exhausted, and no sound rises above the cries of my empty stomach. Please, we need you today more than ever before. Not for me, but for my nephews and nieces, they are too young and they are starving to death. Please donate and share.

I apologize to you for watching this scene on the phone, but I saw it with my own eyes and this video just so you know what we’re going through.

Once again, I risk my life, reaching the farthest place I can in northern Gaza. Only a few meters separate me from the dangerous yellow zone, where tanks fire never stops. I took shelter in the last standing houses, fearing the stray bullets and the ongoing shelling. But beyond this point, no houses remain, everything is rubble and destruction.

Gaza is bleeding today… and the people there are living on the edge of survival — trapped between hunger, illness without medicine, and nights without shelter. And despite all this pain, we have taken our very first step in our new humanitarian project, Handala — a small step, but driven by a powerful intention: not to leave the people of Gaza alone in their suffering. Today, as the beginning of our mission, we distributed food meals to the patients in the surgical department of Al-Shifa Hospital and to the medical teams who continue working without rest, despite severe shortages of everything. This first step showed us the true scale of the need… and proved that the road ahead is long, and that what we currently have is not enough to save the overwhelming number of exhausted and wounded people. We are at the very beginning of our project. We are still building our foundation and trying to make a difference despite extremely limited resources. But every humanitarian initiative is born small — and grows stronger through the support of compassionate people. And the painful truth is: The number of people in need is far greater than our current abilities. The funding we have only covers a tiny portion of the suffering we witness every day. This is why we call on you, from our hearts: Be part of the beginning. Help us continue. Help us expand our reach so we can support more patients, more families, more hungry children. Your donation today is not just support — It is the foundation of a humanitarian project that will grow with you, because of you, and will help restore life for those who have lost everything. Let us begin together… and grow together… for Gaza.
