Everything Paul Heyman said about the mistakes TNA made by pushing legends over young guys is EXACTLY what both WWE & AEW are doing now! "I wanted to build around the young guys and give it a different feel from the WWE lite product. But TNA didn't wanna get rid of the old guys. How can you build around the young guys when you're giving all this TV time to these old guys."

WWE Producer TJ Wilson is concerned that wrestling fewer matches could hurt the development of wrestlers: “LA Knight had the most matches in WWE last year with 64. I asked the guys at a seminar how many matches they had, and guys were like, ‘I’ve had about 100 this year.’ In three years our most wrestled guy is going to have 190. What about the guy that’s wrestling 15? In three years from now he’ll only have 50. 50 matches is not a ton of reps.” (Dan Marston)
