The US Army is planning to use FY'27 funding to finish the Critical Design Review and final Development Testing of the Next Generation Counter UAS Missile (NGCM). The Army also plans to fund the integration of NGCM and current C-sUAS effectors into a common launcher. NGCM, being developed by AV, is Army's next generation missile system designed to defeat emerging Group 3+ UAS threats at stand off ranges.

Periodic reminder: In every recent fighter competition where they went head-to-head (Canada, Finland, Switzerland, Czech Republic etc), the F-35 didn't just win, it took the Gripen’s lunch money. Keep in mind, the F-35 was handing out these beatings before the advanced post-SDD configurations were even offered. While F-35 fleets are currently logging combat sorties that inform real-time modernization, Sweden has barely inducted a single operational Gripen E.

The US Air Force first took combat coded F-35A's to Exercise Red Flag in 2017. It was an overwhelming success. Israel then deployed its F-35I Adir in combat operations with success. The IAF has since overwhelmingly dominated the Iranian IADS and C2 capability on the back of its F-35I's and other capabilities. USAF's F-35A's were the first aircraft to enter Iranian Air Space during Ops Midnight Hammer paving the way (SEAD) for the strike package to follow. The JPO and its dismal modernization track record deserve the heat. Yet the F-35’s current capability remains second to none. It is a platform proven in large force exercises, expeditionary deployments, and combat operations, all forged by the most exhaustive flight test program in history. Credit the designers, the operators, and the testers for that. #F35 #5Gen #EpicFury #FlightTest

US Army's Common Autonomous Multi-Domain Launcher's (CAML) mission is to provide elements across all echelons with a mobile, autonomous, optionally manned, versatile cross-domain fires capability. The CAML launcher platform will support cross-domain fires to include TLAMs, Patriot interceptors, MLRS Family of Munitions (MFOM), IFPC interceptors, and in the future the Blackbeard Ground Launch (GL) missile. MFOM, Blackbeard GL and IFPC launch capability will reside in the CAML-Medium (7.5 ton chassis) while the CAML-Heavy (15 ton chassis) will support additional TLAM and PAC-3 MSE capability.

Sounds like the US Air Force E-7 Wedgetail platform purchase is back on track. ⤵️ "The E-7 is the replacement for the E-3 [AWACS]..The E-2 [D] is a great platform but it is not in the same class. We have 2 Rapid Prototype jets on contract and funded. We have contracts in place for five more EMD platforms and the Department is committing to work with you [Congress] to figure out how to adjust the 2027 budget submission to fund the E-7 [procurement] and work the 28 (FY-2028) going forward. "During the flight over the Pacific Ocean west of California, the X-43A set the world speed record for a jet-powered aircraft, reaching Mach 9.6. The mission originated from NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California. After the first flight attempt in June 2001 failed when the booster rocket went out of control, the second and third attempts resulted in highly successful, record-breaking flights. I don't claim to have the deep expertise of Jakub but unless one just woke up from a coma, the primary military objectives of Epic Fury have been clearly laid out by those executing the campaign. Several times. They were laid out in the Feb. 28 address from POTUS and highlighted by Admiral Cooper a few days ago as well. That is what the sorties and combat power is being devoted to accomplish.
