An impactful car rally took place in Houston, Texas, demonstrating solidarity with Chairman Imran Khan, and over 10,000 political workers detained for more than three months. The rally, featuring hundreds of cars, showcased the participants' unwavering support and affection for their leader, Imran Khan. The first heartfelt appeal from Imran Khan cricket family urging players to speak up for him hasn’t come from any cricketer in Pakistan. It has come from Maj. Gen. Norman McLean, who toured Pakistan as manager of the West Indies team in 1987 and 1989. It’s painful and deeply telling that a voice from outside our borders shows this courage while so many at home remain silent. History will remember who stood up in a moment of injustice and who chose comfort over conscience.

Let’s close this chapter once and for all. Sajid N. Tarar has falsely claimed for years to be an advisor to President Trump. Leading up to Pakistan’s elections, he used mainstream media to push the narrative that the President Trump administration would not prioritize Imran Khan or Pakistan, attempting to discourage Pakistani Americans from voting Republican. At today’s mainstream TV program, to please his masters in Pakistan he claimed that Ambassador Richard Grenell doesn’t hold a high rank within Trump administration, and like others saying he has been influenced by the lobbyist. To set the record straight, I confirmed directly with a senior official at the Republican National Committee that not only has he never been an advisor to President Trump, but he is also not even permitted to attend high-level Republican events. I have written confirmation of this for further clarity.

My message to the supporters of Imran Khan is you have right on your side in terms of legitimacy of popular vote. Don’t overplay your hand it’s gonna work for you. But I would also say it to the Generals and I would be more than happy to say it to them in private for goodness sake perhaps you were mislead about what the popular view was but you know what it is now. It doesn’t diminish the military power or military role in Pakistan to acknowledge what the actual vote is. I would argue it would strengthen the Military if they acknowledged it. Gentry Beach reinforces this false narrative by falsely stating that a lobby group working for Imran Khan is spending $2-3 million every month in the U.S. This claim is not only misleading but also an outright insult to the 1 million Pakistani Americans, the majority of whom worked tirelessly during President Donald J.
