Chanhyuk: Company doesn’t matter, but it’s about the people you work with. “There’s also something like this. Even though we say we created a “company,” we just used that word because it’s easier for people to understand. But in the end, it’s not really about the company, it’s about the people. Like, who you work with. And what kind of experiences you share with them, that’s what really matters the most. So with these people, whether we go, volunteering or travel somewhere, we always move together as one group. Because if not and later on, when I write and release a song, if we hadn’t shared those experiences, I’d have to explain everything. Like, “I went somewhere and had this kind of experience…” But since we’ve all lived it together, I can just say, “Hey, I wrote this kind of song this time,” and they’ll be like, “Oh, yeah, I get it. I know exactly what that is.” It just makes everything so much faster, right?”

ahh… listening to the song feels like the whole album is indeed truly dedicated to suhyun🥺 from the track 1 itself, it’s like talking to someone who’s completely worn out, it contrasts the city with this “rumored paradise,” which isn’t really a place but more like healing, peace, or something more meaningful. it’s basically saying that the struggles you go through, the pain, the exhaustion, even the “blisters” are part of the journey, and there are things you’ll only understand once you leave what’s familiar. and even if you feel like something inside you is broken or can’t be fixed, there is a place (or state) where that pain won’t define you anymore. and maybe the most important part is you don’t leave just to escape. you leave to find something real, like love, meaning, or yourself. 🫶🏻 Paradise of Rumors MV:

a little tmi abt akmu’s independent label:🤭 AKMU left YG this January 2026 and started their own company called “Cemter of Inspiration,” which literally means a spring where inspiration comes from. Chanhyuk said they chose that name because ever since before debut, even during auditions, he’s constantly been asked, “Where do you get your inspiration from?” and that question never really stopped. So he was like, “Let’s just call the place we’re in the source of inspiration,” since they’re basically always “scooping” ideas from it every day. What’s funny is how they run it LOL😭 they call their employees “Yeonggam” (Inspiration), meaning people who give them inspiration. Chanhyuk is the “head of the center,” and Suhyun is literally called “Princess.” And yes, their staff actually address her like that in real work situations, like “Princess, I’m contacting you about accounting,” and she replies “Yes, Yeonggam” 🤣🤣 They even introduced their managers as “Go Yeonggam” and “Hwang Yeonggam,” and when asked about company welfare, one of them said at first it felt like a downgrade from their previous job🤣 but after a couple of months, he realized it was actually pretty good, to the point he felt like he could “bet his life” on it. And apparently Suhyun teases them a lot about that HAHAHA

It was such a beautiful MV. 🐥 Have you seen the “Paradise of Rumors” music video? 🧑🏻 Yes, There was another one released along with it too. 🐥 Another music video? 🧑🏻 There were two in total, and they were filmed with a similar tone, and honestly, it just makes you look forward to AKMU even more now. 🐥 To me, although they’re my (hoobae) juniors, and also like my really cute younger siblings, but as musicians, they’re incredibly admirable. 🧑🏻 These days, you really feel like, “Wow, there are truly genius musicians out there.” 🐥 Geniuses, really. 🧑🏻 It actually makes me feel relieved, in a way. 🐥I listened to the whole album yesterday, and I just thought: it’s so great that AKMU exists. 🧑🏻 I really hope musicians like them continue to come out in our music industry. 🐥Right, right. 🥹❤️🌸

Yes, we heard it. 👩🏻 Since you worked with IU on NAKKA, when you release an album like this, did she reach out to you or give you any kind of feedback? 🐰 We don’t really keep in touch often, but more than anyone else, we always support each other from the heart. We keep up with each other’s activities, and she’s someone we respect and admire the most, a senior we truly love. 🐰 And she actually said that her most cherished junior isn’t AKMU as a whole, but specifically Lee Suhyun.
