This is also an IMAX 70mm screen size—but it’s in my bed, in my hotel room, on a plane…anywhere I want. And it’s not projection—it’s micro-OLED, with pure blacks and HDR on Apple Vision Pro. No random people nearby to ruin the experience. It’s pretty damn awesome, tbh.

Meta Hyperscape is genuinely one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen in XR. Until now, its biggest limitation was that it only worked via cloud streaming. But Meta has just achieved something huge: a version that runs natively on the device, also allowing us to share the same space with friends. Yes, the drop in visual quality is noticeable — but it’s a trade-off that’s absolutely worth it for the new possibilities it opens up. Amazing milestone for XR. 👏🚀
