Days ago, Serbia's president issued an open threat: They are waiting for the best possible opportunity to invade 🇽🇰. Today, Serbian Army units have been detected just meters away from our border. We are closely monitoring the situation for any attempt to cross into 🇽🇰 territory.

Last night, in cooperation w/ 🇽🇰 Intelligence Agency, our Police prevented a terrorist attack. 100m from Zveçan's municipal bldg, KP stopped a Serbian state–owned car loaded w/ military-grade arms—also produced in Serbia. The images show the potential scale of the averted attack.

Another journalist was brutally attacked while covering the developments in the north of 🇽🇰 today by masked men. The physical attacks on those reporting from the ground are absolutely unacceptable and must be condemned by all parties who are otherwise vocal on the situation.

Fascinating excavations are taking place in the ancient city of Ulpiana, where a rare inscription of the Emperor Justinian (527–565 C.E.) was discovered last year, showing his connection with Dardania. This year, an international team of professors and students of archeology from 🇽🇰 and 🇫🇷 — many of whom are beneficiaries of Government scholarships — has uncovered a mosaic made of local stones from the time of Justinian's reign. Such discoveries illuminate the rich and ancient past of our country, while also constituting major scientific contributions by Kosova's top scholars and students.

Approximately 20kg of explosives were used in last Friday's kinetic terrorist attack on our critical infrastructure. This past week could have been very different had it not been for the swift, coordinated, and professional institutional response to mitigate the impact of the damage. As an attack on the civilian population, it could have reduced the country's energy generation by 60% and impacted water access for up to 40% of the population. The resemblance with Russia's targeting and destruction of critical civil infrastructure in Ukraine is alarming. This video recounts the events and institutional response within the first 48 hours following the attack, which took place on November 29. While significant progress has been made, institutional efforts to fully repair the damage and restore normalcy are still ongoing.

It was the phone that saved the life of video journalist Vaughan Smith when it caught the bullet. He was documenting the killings of the Jashari family in Prekaz, where 59 members of the same family were murdered in 1998. Documenting and reporting on the Serbian crimes in Kosova has been life-threatening, and we must acknowledge the bravery of those who kept the truth alive.
