Calling this Tan Jianci misogynistic??? Seriously??? 😭 I still remember when he was dancing with Zhao Xiaotang and her shoe accidentally came off. He didn’t even hesitate—he took off his own shoe too, to the point that his insole went flying and became part of the joke. He wasn’t thinking about his image at all.

“is tan jianci so famous in china?” Tan Jianci is THAT famous in China… with a fandom so massive and loyal, they trust every choice he makes and support him 100% no matter what. This year marks his 20th anniversary in the entertainment industry. He currently represents 23 brands, including 10 luxury brands, with 14 of them appointing him as their global spokesperson. He’s a true all-rounder—acting, singing, dancing, variety shows… he does it all flawlessly. All FIVE of his 2024 concerts sold out in seconds, with ticket-snatching difficulty hitting Hell Level, right up there with Jay Chou. And the craziest part? He built all of this from nothing. His tireless hard work, insane dedication, and ability to rise above black hs attacks never, ever stopped him from shining brighter than anyone else 💛🔥 #TanJianci #DancingWithTheTide

Tan Jianci was holding back tears so hard that his voice was trembling… but he didn’t want to ruin the atmosphere. Then, in a complete shift of mood, he smiled and said, “Hengdian has lots of fun places to visit and yummy food—you can go explore and try them!” aaaahhh what do I do… this man is just too gentle 🥺😭 #TanJianci #DancingWithTheTide

The horse was already not in the right condition before filming started, and it got startled twice because of the honk. Then the scene went ahead without properly calming it down. Thank God Tan Jianci is well-trained, since the first lesson in horse riding is learning how to minimize injury when falling off a horse #TanJianci #DancimgWithTheTide

Q: Recently, with phenomena like AI face-swapping and AI voice cloning impacting the entire film and television industry—including infringing on actors’ personal rights—what are your thoughts on this? A: I think AI itself is a tool. Every industry needs the right tools, and there’s nothing wrong with that. The key lies in how we use it. It can definitely assist with things like post-production, improving efficiency, and reducing costs. But when it comes to acting, I don’t think it should become a substitute. AI can imitate an actor’s face and voice very closely, but when it comes to performing a scene—the mindset, the soul, the creative intention behind it—those things can’t be replicated. Even the imperfections in an actor’s performance—because of repeated takes, there’s always that one unique moment where everything aligns just right. That kind of timing and spontaneity can’t be recreated. It’s something given by chance. And those instincts—maybe in that moment, my performance wasn’t perfectly polished, maybe it had rough edges—but that’s exactly what can make it more vivid and alive. For a perfectly structured AI program, it’s very difficult to reproduce that kind of authenticity. His answer is intelligent, composed, and full of depth. His EQ is on another level, and it shows in how thoughtfully he responds to complex issues #TanJianci
