I’m grateful for the crowd’s warm reception to my remarks! “when reports emerged of a potential U.S.-Iran deal, Senator Ted Cruz, oftentimes called Lyin’ Ted, immediately accused President Trump and his administration of ‘appeasing Iran,’ before any details were even known. Weeks earlier, he declared the phrase ‘Christ is King’ antisemitic — an attack that offended millions of Christians, including me. With all due respect, this confrontational style is not the most effective way to build broad support for the alliance. Israel would be better served by advocates who practice greater restraint, wisdom, and a clear focus on American national interests. I’m being called a “Jew hater” because I criticized the ridiculous behavior of certain Israeli advocates like Ted Cruz. Here’s how I opened my speech: “We gather today amid real challenges facing the United States, Israel, and Jewish communities across America. For those who may not know, I happened to be traveling through the Middle East just as the Iranian attacks erupted, leaving me stranded amid the chaos. The past 72 hours have been utterly surreal, like nothing I've ever experienced before. Iranian missiles were flying directly over my head. Here's a video I captured on the second night of the attacks. First, I'd like to extend my deepest gratitude to Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and his administration for their exceptional assistance and unwavering commitment to my safety during my time in Doha. Their care was unparalleled, and I was truly impressed by the effectiveness of the Patriot missile interceptor system. Second, a heartfelt thank you to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for providing top-tier security during my time there, and for ensuring that the other Americans and I could safely board our flight and depart the Gulf without incident. It was also remarkable to witness the Qataris and Saudis collaborating seamlessly to protect American lives, they are both incredible allies. 🇺🇸🇸🇦🇶🇦 Most importantly, I want to thank White House Deputy Chief of Staff James Blair, Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, and all the other U.S. government officials who helped me. (Also, a special thank you to the US Ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, and her great staff on the ground for ensuring that our flight was able to successfully land in Athens on such short notice.) My friend Charlie Kirk was one of a kind. He is truly irreplaceable. There isn’t a person alive who could do what he did. He was the leading social media influencer and the top podcaster in our movement. He was the thought leader of our generation. Over the past decade, he raised hundreds of millions of dollars for conservative causes. His persuasive ability was unmatched, as demonstrated in the last election cycle, when we saw a 44-point increase in support from young voters compared to the previous election. He was truly one of a kind, and he will be dearly missed. However, President Trump’s Chief of Staff Susie Wiles said it best the other day: “don't let your voice get softer. Charlie Kirk would want everybody to speak as they had been and more.'" That is why I showed up to speak last night in North Carolina. We must not be intimidated. Every election cycle, Democrats claim “Texas is in play.” With vegan James Talarico heading their ticket, that fantasy is even more detached from reality. Talarico is a far-left radical who has called God “non-binary,” said he loves “trans children,” and backed policies tied to defunding the police. I’m not sure why you chose to quote-tweet my post with such a stupid comment. I am not part of any “woke Reich,” nor do I harbor hatred toward Jews. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, and I will always speak out against anti-Christian hatred, regardless of where it comes from or who is responsible for it.
