For over three and a half years, the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has warned that the Taliban and Al Qaeda strategically mask their global terror activities by attributing attacks to ISIS. With this approach, they claim they aren’t exporting terrorism from Afghanistan while maintaining plausible deniability. Ample evidence confirms this deception. In June 2024, terror cells of Tajikistani terrorists claiming to be ISIS were uncovered in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and New York. We know these terrorists received training in Afghanistan under the protection of the Taliban and crossed the southern border to enter the US. The video shared here proves this tactic. It features Tajikistani terrorists from Ansarullah, an Al Qaeda-linked group based in Afghanistan trying to overthrow Tajikistan’s republic with Taliban support. They are praising former Taliban terrorist leader Mullah Omar for defeating the US in Afghanistan and declaring their intention to “take Tajikistan just as we took Afghanistan.” Despite using an ISIS flag, their allegiance clearly lies with the Taliban and Al Qaeda. The international community, especially the United States, must recognize this deception. Taliban-occupied Afghanistan remains the epicenter of terrorism, where foreign terrorists are trained and given Afghanistan’s passports and attacks are planned. The fight against terror requires a unified, forceful stance against both ISIS and Taliban-Al Qaeda since both are two sides of the same coin.

On March 16, 2026, the City of Paris, under the leadership of Mayor Anne Hidalgo, hosted a conference titled “Afghanistan at a Crossroads: Dialogue for Hope and Action.” Ahmad Massoud, leader of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, was invited as the special guest and delivered the keynote address. During the conference, Mr. Massoud and Deputy Mayor of Paris, Mr. Arnaud Ngatcha, delivered opening remarks, followed by two panel discussions. The first panel focused on the dire situation of women in Afghanistan, while the second addressed the various forms of resistance against the Taliban terrorist group, including armed, political, and civic efforts. The panels brought together a diverse group of participants, including French officials, members of civil society, academic experts, activists, and officials of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, including myself. The conference was attended by a wide range of French officials, as well as representatives from civil society, academia, media, and the diaspora of the people of Afghanistan. This event marks one of the first major conferences held in France since 2021 specifically focused on Afghanistan, with particular emphasis on the resistance and the future of the country. A photo exhibition was also organized by renowned French photojournalist REZA, featuring his work from Afghanistan, including powerful images of the late Commander Ahmad Shah Massoud and NRF leader Ahmad Massoud. We extend our sincere appreciation to Mayor Anne Hidalgo Hidalgo, Deputy Mayor Arnaud Ngatcha, and their entire team for organizing and hosting this important conference, and for their continued support and solidarity with the people of Afghanistan. Full message by NRF leader Ahmad Massoud delivered last week at The Soufan Center’s Global Terrorism and Political Violence Summit at Ground Zero, New York City, commemorating the 24th anniversary of 9/11 and the assassination of Afghanistan’s National Hero, Commander Ahmad Shah Massoud. This message is essential to hear given the dire situation in Afghanistan, where the threat of regional and global terrorism and extremism is rising. And with President Donald J. Trump recently referencing Afghanistan and Bagram, it is more important than ever to understand the country’s current geopolitical reality which is far worse than before 9/11.

During the panel hosted by Hudson Institute last week, I outlined four major threats emanating from Taliban-occupied Afghanistan to the national security interests of the international community, especially the United States: transnational terrorism, arms trade, drug trafficking, and mass migration. These threats will continue as long as the Taliban terrorist group remains in power. I also highlighted the historical strategic importance of Bagram and emphasized that, for the first time, the Taliban terrorists and their allied terrorist groups now control this critical site. Furthermore, I proposed how the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan can serve as a credible partner in countering these threats and contributing to regional and international security.

I joined Real America's Voice (RAV) with Tera Dahl to address key points from the House Foreign Affairs Committee Majority hearing, where Secretary Antony Blinken made several false claims. He denied the existence of our resistance against terrorism, downplayed Al Qaeda’s resurgence in Taliban-occupied Afghanistan, and insisted that no prior warnings were given about the eventual fall of the government before August 15, 2021. During the interview, I outlined how these statements contradict facts and reality.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our dear friend Sandy Gall, a distinguished British journalist, author, and steadfast friend of Afghanistan. He was not only a close friend of the late Commander Ahmad Shah Massoud and his family, but also the author of Commander Massoud’s biography, drawn from the Commander’s own diaries and personal accounts. His work preserved the legacy of Afghanistan’s National Hero for the world to witness. Ahmad Massoud and I had the honor of meeting him for the last time this past February in Kent. It was a profoundly emotional encounter, filled with reflection, warmth, and shared memories. We did not know then that it would be our final meeting. His wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support for the people of Afghanistan left a lasting impression on both of us. We are privileged to have called him and his family our dear friends. On behalf of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan and its leader Ahmad Massoud, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Gall family. We honor Sandy Gall’s remarkable legacy, his voice for freedom, and his tireless advocacy for Afghanistan. May he rest in eternal peace. Carlotta Gall

Alongside Panjshir's gentle springs, nestled in the heart of the Hindu Kush, a National Resistance Front of Afghanistan freedom fighter plays his flute. Each note resonating with the unyielding spirit of our struggle. This is the rhythm of resilience and resistance, the song of a steadfast pursuit for liberty. We stand united, victory in our sights.

Happy International Women's Day to all women, especially to the oppressed but brave women of Afghanistan. All of Afghanistan's citizens must join the Resistance to end the gender apartheid and oppression that the girls and women of Afghanistan are facing today in order for them to regain their inalienable rights. Resistance is the only option to achieve freedom, equality, and justice.

The Taliban terrorist group has once again targeted Afghanistan’s girls and women by banning UNICEF’s Accelerated Learning Centers in Afghanistan. These centers have provided thousands of girls in rural areas with access to literacy and education over the past three years. The video captures the heartbreak of these young girls as they learn their classes are being shut down due to this oppressive decree. Thousands of classes around the country will be closed as a result of this decision. This move is yet another attempt by the Taliban to dismantle the foundations of knowledge and progress in Afghanistan, replacing them with their extremist ideology that promotes violence and ignorance. Their relentless push to establish radical jihadist madrasas poses a dire threat not only to Afghanistan but to global security. If left unchecked, we risk witnessing millions of indoctrinated youth being funneled into terrorist and criminal networks in the years to come. The international community must act now to prevent this tragedy.
