Ai: Full Speed Ahead or Shut it All Down? We are at an inflection point. The US is in the midst of an ever accelerating Ai tech race with China—one that could soon see the “un-intended” results of our way of life, the values of freedom and liberty, eroded and replaced by a technocratic surveillance state where our every move is recorded into our digital id database and used against us. Is this where we want to go as a society? Do we want robots and Ai to take our jobs and be thrust into a UBI system dependent on government approval of our actions? Can we win the Ai race with China and preserve our jobs and liberties? This must be the goal.
