إذا أقدمت المملكة العربية السعودية على تصعيد أو استهداف للقوات الجنوبية التابعة للمجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي، فإن ذلك سيكون خطأً استراتيجيًا جسيمًا؛ وطعنة في خاصرة الجبهة الوحيدة الصادقة والفعّالة المناهضة للحوثي الارهابي المدعوم من ايران ، وهو أيضاً الشريك الوحيد الذي أثبت كفاءة حقيقية على الأرض. المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي يحترم ويثمن شراكته ضمن التحالف، لكنه في الوقت ذاته على عاتقه التزام بأولويات وثوابت وطنية وهو التمثيل الحقيقي والصادق لإرادة الشعب الذي يمثّله، ومخوّل بالسعي لتحقيق تطلعاته المشروعة. تقدّم القوات الجنوبية ليس خروجًا عن الصف، بل تصحيح لمسار طال تشويهه. وقد أثبتت التطورات الأخيرة أهميتها الاستراتيجية، إذ كشفت شبكات تمويل الحوثيين والتنظيمات المتطرفة عبر مصانع تكرير نفطية غير قانونية والتهريب، المرتبط مباشرةً بجماعات محسوبة على الإخوان المسلمين، والتي غذّت الانقلاب والإرهاب لسنوات. أنا على ثقة بأن المملكة، بقيادتها الرشيدة، ستدرك، بحكمةً ومسؤولية، بأن القوات الجنوبية والنخبة الحضرمية ستثبت جدواها أكثر مما كان متوقعًا، وأن دعم مسار الاستقرار الحقيقي أجدى من إجهاضه. فالاستقرار لا يُدار بالافتراضات، بل بالوقائع … ووقائع اليوم تقول إن الجنوب هو مفتاح الحل، لا عائقَه.

في 20 ديسمبر – يوم التضامن، نقف اليوم أمام مقر الأمم المتحدة في نيويورك، امتدادًا لأصوات شعبنا في أرض الجنوب. ما سُمّي وحدة تحوّل إلى احتلال، وما فُرض بالقوة ينتزع انتزاع. رسالتنا واضحة: الجنوب يريد استعادة دولته، وسيادته، وقراره الحر.

We didn’t come to Washington asking for handouts. We came with a strategy and a vision. As proud South Yemeni Americans, we made the case for a direct and strategic partnership—rooted in shared interests, mutual security, and regional stability. The reality on the ground speaks for itself: The Southern Transitional Council (STC) stands as the only organized and capable force with legitimacy, structure, and a proven track record—resisting Houthi expansion, countering terrorism, and securing vital global waterways. In a region full of uncertainty, actions speak louder than any theory. The frontlines of Yemen today lie along the pre-1990 North/South borders—because the South never stopped defending its identity, and its strive for independence. Our message to Congress was clear and deliberate: Don’t overlook your most natural and capable partner in Yemen—and perhaps the region at large—the people of the South. What left the greatest impression was the sincere and constructive engagement we received from both chambers of Congress. There is a growing bipartisan recognition that the South presents a rare and timely opportunity—anchored in shared interests across national security, foreign policy, and humanitarian outreach. In a region as volatile as the Middle East—especially with mounting tensions between Iran and Israel—such opportunities must not be overlooked. This wasn’t merely an advocacy event. It was the beginning of a strategic era. And it won’t be the last. #SouthYemen
