The helpline will now be open: Tuesdays 3pm - 6pm Thursdays 4pm - 7pm Sundays 6pm - 8pm We believe this is a vital step for our one-to-one listening service, run by trained and vetted volunteers and via live-chat, to help young teens worried about friendships, bullying or feeling different and older teens and young adults with concerns about coming out, relationships and navigating the world as a lesbian, gay man or bisexual. This is the only service of its kind and we hope it will continue to grow. You can find out more about the helpline here

In the 1950’s and 60’s some people thought homosexuality should be ‘treated’ with hormone injections. Sadly, despite all the advances in gay rights, some people still think that. The draft Conversion Practices bill could make it safer to tell someone “yes, you have been born in the wrong body” rather than ask questions about why they feel that way - including the fact that they might be struggling to accept that they’re LGB. This law could end up enforcing the very thing it claims to seek to ban. In 2026, young people growing up to be gay deserve better than this. Much better. Want to help spread this message?
