Love these underdog stories, some will doubt you because of your size, some will say you’re not projectable, some will compare you to the earlier bloomers, but the one thing they can’t measure is your heart and determination, height doesn’t measure heart, he knew no one cared but he kept working!

Finally a parent that gets it. I see too many showcase teams, talented they be, but terrible Baseball IQ. In my honest opinion, these showcase teams are more for the coaches ego than the players. You can play great competition without being on showcase team. It’s the long game that should be the focus not short.
