Recall: few weeks ago, Elrufai stated on Arise TV that Dadiyata was abducted by Nigerian Policemen and today. Muhammad Musa, a former SSA to former Zamfara Gov, Bello Matawalle has allegedly claimed on his Facebook that the missing Dadiyata was killed in his presence by the duo of CSP Hussani Gimba & CSP Hassan Gimba of Operation Yaki in Kaduna. After the alleged court petition filed by Bello Matawalle against Sheikh Asada surfaced, Musa Kamarawa, former SSA to the former governor of Zamfara, the current Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle,appeared in a new video today, stating that he is indeed a witness to Malam Murtala Asada’s claims. He affirmed that Matawalle bought vehicles and gave them to bandit kingpins such as Ado Aleru, Kachalla Halilu, and Bello Turji. Kamarawa further corroborated the cleric’s allegations, swearing by the Holy Qur’an that he personally received funds, presenting his bank statements, totalling ₦42 million and purchase 28 bags of grains and distributed across 14 LGAs from the Matawalle-led administration, 2000 bags each to bandits. He also confirmed Sheikh Asada’s accusation that Matawalle purchased a house for Bello Turji, adding that he was the one awarded the contract to build it, which he completed. In addition, he verified claims that the state government bought cattle from bandits through him. Kamarawa stated that he has more evidence he is ready to present in court, insisting that innocent people and victims of banditry deserve justice and an end to this menace.

Musa Kamarawa, in the video, revealed that although he is from Sokoto, he was appointed as a Senior Special Assistant by Bello Matawalle when Matawalle was governor. He explained that he was once arrested but later released after it was established that he had no direct ties with bandits. According to him, he only acted as a middleman between former Governor Matawalle and various bandit groups on Matawalle’s instructions. He also admitted that he was responsible for sourcing cows from bandits for the former governor, including those used for Matawalle’s daughter’s wedding ceremony.

Meanwhile, there are numerous cars and military vehicles escorting the minister and his entourage to Zamfara, security personnel who could have been deployed to protect hundreds of residents, but are instead used to guard one politician, further fueling his sense of self-importance and ego. I’m even sighting a jet over the convoy; I just hope it’s not a military jet. This is the same Matawalle who failed Zamfara woefully as governor, the same man under whose watch banditry worsened, poverty deepened, and governance collapsed. Yet, because Nigeria often rewards failure with promotion, we now have a Minister of State for Defence moving around like a head of state, while the citizens he once governed still sleep with one eye open. The whistleblower, Sheikh Murtala Asada’s new episode on exposing the armed bandits’ sponsors in Nigeria. Audio Recording Exposes Alleged Attempt to Silence Whistleblower in Matawalle Banditry Case.😱 Mr. President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, if this is not enough reason to suspend, sack, and order a full investigation into Matawalle, then I truly do not know what is. Today, the whistleblower, Sheikh Murtala Asada, released an audio recording of a phone conversation between Dr. Sulaiman Shinkafi, an aide to former Zamfara State Governor and current Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, and Musa Kamarawa, the former Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Minister. In the recorded call, Dr. Shinkafi was heard pleading with Kamarawa to withdraw from serving as a witness in court, recant his earlier statements, and stop further public disclosures. Kamarawa, who recorded the conversation, stated that they also urged him to debunk his claims in exchange for the withdrawal of charges against him and the fulfillment of promises allegedly made to him by Matawalle.
