I learned "Muddy Road" from a 1960s recording of Claude Wolfenbarger of Grainger County, Tennessee. The first part of the melody is the same as "Willie Moore." My instrument is a traditional gourd banjo handmade by myself. My tuning is dADF♯A ~ gDGBD.
