An example is the Cameroonian army, trained by the UK, France, and America. This is the Cameroonian army molesting women in Ambazonia after suffering heavy casualties at the hands of Ambazonian liberation soldiers. Civilians pay the price while the world looks away. Norway, meanwhile, has held Ambazonian leader Dr. Cho Ayaba in pretrial detention since 2024 on allegations charges of inciting war crimes and crimes against humanity, based largely on his public statements and alleged remote role. He denies everything and calls it political. His trial is still pending. So here’s the conversation starter: If documented atrocities by Cameroonian forces keep happening with no consequence, why is the first major international case targeting a Ambazonia leader sitting in a Norwegian jail? Is this even-handed justice under universal jurisdiction or does it show whose crimes get prosecuted and whose get quietly tolerated?
